MEDIA ADVISORY: House Finance meets on Thursday to consider FY 2022 state budget
|
STATE HOUSE – On the evening of Thursday, June 17 in Room 35 of the State House, the House Finance Committee will meet to consider the FY 2022 state budget. The budget introduced on March 11 by House Finance Committee Chairman Marvin Abney, at the request of Governor Dan McKee (2021-H 6122), is posted, but the committee will be considering amended legislation.
The budget is posted for consideration at the Rise, which is following the 4 p.m. House session. An approximate start time for the hearing will be determined on Thursday.
The hearing will be televised live on Capitol Television, which can be seen on Cox on Channels 15 and 61, in high definition on Cox Channel 1061, on Full Channel on Channel 15 and on Channel 34 by Verizon subscribers. It will also be live-streamed at www.rilegislature.gov/CapTV.
