6/16/2021 Rep. Baginski delivers bike helmets to students at Woodridge Elementary
STATE HOUSE – Rep. Jacquelyn Baginski (D-Dist. 17, Cranston) visited Woodridge Elementary School in Cranston today to deliver free bike helmets to the students.

“Did you know that it’s against the law to ride your bike without a helmet?  It is so important that you all think about safety as you’re out trying to enjoy your summer.  It is my pleasure to come here today with my friends from the RI Association for Justice to ensure that kids are being as safe as possible while enjoying the neighborhood while on their bikes,” said Representative Baginski to the students.

The event was part of a program sponsored by the Rhode Island Association for Justice to promote awareness of a state law that requires children aged 15 or younger to wear a helmet while riding a bike, skateboard or scooter.
