Senator Adam J. Satchell (Democrat - District 9, West Warwick) was born on May 14, 1981. He is currently employed as a guidance counselor with the West Warwick School System, having previously been a teacher at West Warwick High School for six years.

Senator Satchell earned his B.A. in psychology from Merrimack College and his M.A. in school counseling from Rhode Island College. In addition, he studied education at St. Patrick's College in Dublin, Ireland, and is a 1999 graduate of West Warwick High School.
