Rep. Perez appointed to House Committees on Health, Education and Welfare, Municipal Government
|
 STATE HOUSE – Rep. Ramon A. Perez (D-Dist. 13, Providence. Johnston) was appointed to the House Committee on Health, Education and Welfare yesterday by House Speaker Nicholas A. Mattiello (D-Dist. 15, Cranston). Representative Perez was also appointed as House Committee on Municipal Government.
“I am honored to have been appointed to the HEW and Municipal Government committees and I thank Speaker Mattiello and the rest of my colleagues for their confidence in my ability to join these committees as a freshman legislator,” said Representative Perez.
The Health, Education and Welfare Committee deliberates matters relating to the health care system, public education, human services and children and families. The House Committee on Municipal Government considers all matters affecting municipal governments and transportation.
