MEDIA ADVISORY: House Finance Subcommittees meet this week to hear department budgets
|
STATE HOUSE – The House Finance Subcommittees on General Government and Human Services will be meeting multiple times this week to hear testimony on FY 24 Supplemental and FY 25 department budgets.
On Tuesday March 12 at 3 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House, the Subcommittee on General Government will hear the following department budgets:

Office of the Secretary of State

Board of Elections
The subcommittee is chaired by Rep. Alex D. Marszalkowski (D-Dist. 52, Cumberland).
Also, on Tuesday, March 12 at the RISE of the House (approximately 4:45 p.m.) in Room 35, the Subcommittee on General Government will hear the following department budgets:

Department of Administration
-
Ethics Commission
-
Public Utilities Commission
On Wednesday, March 13 at 4 p.m. in Room 35, the Subcommittee on General Government will hear the following department budgets:

Executive Office of Commerce

Department of Labor and Training
-
Department of Housing
-
Commission for Human Rights
On Thursday, March 14 at 3 p.m. in Room 35, the Subcommittee on Human Services will hear the following department budgets:

Governor’s Commission on Disabilities

Commission on Deaf and Hard of Hearing
The Subcommittee on Human Services is chaired by Rep. Teresa A. Tanzi (D-Dist. 34, Narragansett, South Kingstown).
Also, on Thursday, March 14 at the RISE of the House (approximately 4:45 p.m.) in Room 35, the Subcommittee on Human Services will hear the following department budgets:

Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals

Office of the Mental Health Advocate
