MEDIA ADVISORY: House Finance Subcommittees to meet four times this week to hear department budgets
|
STATE HOUSE – House Finance Subcommittees will be meeting four times this week to continue hearing department budgets.
On Tuesday, March 25, at 3 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House, the Subcommittee on Human Services will hear testimony on the FY 26 and FY 25 revised budgets for the Department of Health.
The subcommittee is chaired by Rep. Teresa A. Tanzi (D-Dist. 34, South Kingstown, Narragansett).
Also, on Tuesday, March 25, at the RISE of the House (approximately 5 p.m.) in Room 35 of the State House, the Subcommittee on General Government will hear testimony on the following FY 26 and FY 25 revised budgets:

Department of Administration

Office of Energy Resources
-
Ethics Commission
-
Public Utilities Commission
The subcommittee is chaired by Rep. Alex D. Marszalkowski (D-Dist. 52, Cumberland).
On Thursday, March 27, at 3 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House, the Subcommittee on General Government will hear testimony on the following FY 26 and FY 25 revised budgets:

Governor’s Office

Lieutenant Governor
Also, on Thursday, March 27, at the RISE of the House (approximately 5 p.m.) in Room 35 of the State House, the Subcommittee on Education will hear testimony on the following FY 26 and FY 25 revised budgets:

Atomic Energy Commission

Public Higher Education
The subcommittee is chaired by Rep. Scott A. Slater (D-Dist. 10, Providence).
