MEDIA ADVISORY: House Finance Subcommittees to meet three times this week to hear department budgets

STATE HOUSE – House Finance Subcommittees will be meeting three times this week to continue hearing department budgets.
On Tuesday, April 1, at 3 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House, the Subcommittee on Public Safety will hear testimony on the FY 26 and FY 25 revised budgets for the Judiciary.
The subcommittee is chaired by Rep. William W. O’Brien (D-Dist. 54, North Providence).
Also, on Tuesday, April 1, at the RISE of the House (approximately 5 p.m.) in Room 35 of the State House, the Subcommittee on Environment and Transportation will hear testimony on the following FY 26 and FY 25 revised budgets:

Coastal Resources Management Council

Department of Environmental Management
The subcommittee is chaired by Rep. Terri Cortvriend (D-Dist. 72, Portsmouth, Middletown).
On Wednesday, April 2, at 4 p.m. in Room 35 of the State House, the Subcommittee on Human Services will hear testimony on the following FY 26 and FY 25 revised budgets:

Office of Veterans Services

Office of Healthy Aging

Department of Human Services

Executive Office of Health and Human Services
The subcommittee is chaired by Rep. Teresa A. Tanzi (D-Dist. 34, South Kingstown, Narragansett).
